While studying Architecture and Fine Art Photography at Arizona State University, I played guitar in a band. When it came time to promote our band we needed a website, but couldn’t afford one. I decided to learn how to build one myself. Little did I know, this website would ignite my passion for building software. Eventually, this led to my first job as a designer and engineer at Arizona PBS where I won 3 Emmy awards for my work.
I have designed and built digital experiences for 15+ years. As a leader, I strive to give my teams the space they need to do the best work of their lives while challenging them to grow both professionally and personally. Having both a design and technical background gives me a strong understanding of what it takes to craft and deliver experiences people love.
I balance my work life with spending time with my wife and 3 sons, as well as personal creative hobbies like D.I.Y. projects, music, and tennis.
